FAQ

Frequently asked questions about identity security

We already have MFA. Isn't that enough?

MFA is an important foundation, but not watertight. Attackers can, for example, steal a signed-in session through a phishing email and bypass MFA that way. That is why we monitor sign-ins and account changes, and step in on anomalies.

What is conditional access?

Rules that decide when someone may sign in, for example only from known devices or locations. Sign-in attempts that do not meet them are blocked.

What does dark web monitoring do?

We watch whether your employees' email addresses and passwords appear in data breaches. If they do, we have the password replaced before an attacker can use it.

How is this different from Microsoft 365 and Workspace security?

Identity security focuses on the accounts and access themselves: who may sign in, with which permissions and how. Microsoft 365 and Workspace security monitors what happens inside that environment, such as downloads and sharing.

What happens if an account is taken over?

We step in according to the response policy we agree with you, for example by blocking or restricting the account. Our specialists follow up and advise on next steps.
