They got in by deceiving the people who had access. 1 ### Phishing and a fake IT phone call Criminals phished customer service employees and called them, posing as the IT department. 2 ### Logins approved Employees were persuaded to approve a fraudulent login attempt. This bypassed an extra layer of security and gave the criminals access to multiple accounts. 3 ### Data stolen and published Large amounts of customer data were copied in a short time, before access was blocked.
